Our founder, Edgar “Injap” Sia II, opened the first location in his hometown of Iloilo City in 2003, when he was just 26. And he chose a brand name that pays tribute to all the grill masters who’ve perfected the art of cooking Iloilo’s most famous dish.


From the start, we paired the country’s best-tasting Chicken Inasal with Unli-Rice (unlimited rice), a first for any Filipino fast-food restaurant. This irresistible combination soon won the Unli-Love of Filipinos across the nation.


It wasn’t long before we were winning awards for excellence as a fast- growing quick-service restaurant and an excellent Filipino franchise.


Mang Inasal has maintained a strong portfolio that includes the best-tasting 2-in-1 sa Laki, Tagos ang Ihaw-Sarap Chicken Inasal, Pork Barbecue, Extra Creamy Halo-Halo, and Palabok, continuously delighting its growing customer base whether via dine-in, takeout, or delivery.

As part of continuously providing Unli-Saya to its customers, Mang Inasal’s presence on social media has been intensified. In 2022, Mang Inasal Nation, the first restaurant-managed social community, was launched. With over 150,000 members, the exclusive Facebook Group has brought the brand and customers together in one platform.
