Mang Inasal treats travelers to a free extra scoop of ice cream on World Tourism Day

Local and foreign tourists can look forward to a special treat from Mang Inasal in celebration of World Tourism Day and the first anniversary of its “Love the Flavors, Love the Philippines” campaign with the Department of Tourism (DOT).
On September 27, visitors who traveled in the Philippines from September 1 and 27 can enjoy a free extra scoop of ube ice cream with every purchase of a Mang Inasal Extra Creamy Halo-Halo Regular, available for both dine-in and takeout at all stores nationwide.
To participate, travelers must present proof of travel, such as airline or bus tickets or boarding passes dated within the promo period. Each proof allows redemption of up to three Halo-Halo regulars per transaction, letting companions join in on the treat.
The one-day promo is part of the award-winning “Love the Flavors, Love the Philippines” campaign, a collaboration between Mang Inasal and DOT that highlights Filipino dishes while promoting gastronomy tourism. The campaign also engages communities through regional caravans, local festivals, and other events, offering free samples of Mang Inasal bestsellers and bringing Filipino flavors directly to the regions.
“Love the Flavors, Love the Philippines” has received multiple recognitions, including Gold for Excellence in Marketing to a Specific Audience category at the 2025 Marketing Excellence Awards, a Bronze Medal in Builders of Society: Tambuli Origins – Integrated Media category at the 2025 Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards, and a Silver Anvil in Public Relations Programs – Arts & Culture/Heritage/Tourism category at the 60th Anvil Awards.
